This antenna is perfect for getting around those reception niggles. The gain is no greater than a standard whip on an XRF but because the cable is 1.5m long it can be more easily located at a window, on a car, round a corner etc. It has a strong magnetic base which can adhere it to all sutable metalic surfaces (steel, iron etc)

Stands 144mm tall, has a 30mm diameter base and the 1,5m long lead is 2.9mm in diameter. Should you wish to pass through a hole it'll need to be a least 9mm to pass the SMA connector through.
